Our History

Jerry W. Faulkner and John M. Mackie founded the firm in January 1988. David A. Cochran joined them in 1989 and became an owner in 1993. Each of our owners and several of our professional staff members began their careers working with international public accounting firms. In addition, many of our owners and associates gained valuable experience and a "business person's viewpoint" while working with various business enterprises prior to joining our firm. We believe this additional experience enables us to better understand the day-to-day outlook of our clients as we offer advice and perform our assigned duties.
