David A. Cochran, CPA, has over 23 years of experience in many areas of business consulting with an emphasis in taxation. David received his Bachelor of Science degree with honors from Lipscomb University in 1983. Before joining FMC in 1989, he was with the international accounting firm of Arthur Andersen in the Nashville and Chattanooga, Tennessee offices. David became a co-owner of FMC in January 1993.

David is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. David has spoken before the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, professional associations, and has prepared and taught seminars for various organizations. David has been qualified as an expert in the Federal United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. He has been involved with several civic organizations including serving as a board member and treasurer of United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee. David is also extensively involved in youth athletics in the middle Tennessee area.
